An accidental expatriate who blogs for Clean Garden Crest

Hello, I am Noah
I work as a project manager. A parent. An expatriate living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter in my life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn't part of our long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much larger.
The opening months were demanding—fresh systems, new routines, unfamiliar expectations. Routine tasks felt more tangled than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, some uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began to build something that felt secure.
Why I Built Clean Garden Crest
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or just skimpy tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to fill that gap with practical guidance grounded in real life in Canada.
What This Site Does (And Doesn't)
This site Is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Canada
- Centered on family life and everyday realities
- Updated when there is a real change
This site Isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- A sponsored review platform
- A generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Canada continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Noah
